About Freelance Web Programmer

Based in Virginia Beach, Virginia, I had spent 8 years in the corporate world of web development, working in the office and remotely. 3 years ago transitioned to freelance web programming. I work part time remotely from home.


Currently I focus on PHP and MySQL web programming .



I worked for Trader Publishing Company for almost 8 years. Coding Webspeed, Coldfusion and then PHP. Working with a team of programmers, I created, enhanced and rewrote many of the company's online classified websites using Oracle, Postgres, MySQL and Progress databases.


The majority of time I spent custom writing ordering and billing systems for their websites. Another large part of my time was spent working closely with the Customer Service Teams to create hundreds of content management tools to make their jobs more efficient.
